NOVEMBER 4TH AND 5TH, 2017 – FAIRFAX STATION, VIRGINIA

HEAD OF THE OCCOQUAN:
Hosted by the Occoquan Boat Club

Now in its 33rd year, HOTO is the sixth largest rowing regatta in the United States. Northern Virginia’s gorgeous fall foliage and protected waterways will usher your descent to the docks.

HOTO’s two-day event schedule allows rowers to enter multiple races throughout the program. Be sure to register early because registration will close by the deadline (below) or when the number of registrants reaches the limitations imposed by the Northern Virginia Regional Park Authority (NVRPA). The registration limit is based on the number of trailers as well as the number of participants.

OBC strongly encourages spectators watch the races nearest to the finish line from the Grandstands. Viewing the regatta from the Grandstands minimizes crowding and maximizes the safety and enjoyment for everyone in attendance.

At Sandy Run Regional Park, guests and visitors can purchase a commemorative HOTO t-shirt, shop at vendors including JL Racing, Rubini Jewelers, as well refreshments and grab a bite to eat.

On Saturday, November 4, HOTO will consist of Collegiate 8’s and 4’s and all Singles and Masters Sculling (except mixed).

On Sunday, November 5, HOTO events will be Club, Junior, Masters Sweep and Mixed Sculling.
